Malcolm Bradley

Malcolm Bradley’s practice spans photography, video, text and installation. His works often collage together different ‘visual notes’ collected through research or in daily life. Bradley’s recent works have employed an industrial process called hydrographic printing. Commonly used within industry to print images onto three dimensional objects like car parts and toys, Bradley has adopted this technique to print his own imagery (often taken with his mobile phone) onto shaped panels made out of insulation board. The resulting jewel-like works hover between sculpture, photography and painting. Often layering multiple images on top of one another, Bradley embraces the slight glitches and mistakes inherent to the process, which give way to a varying surface texture.
